Cashmere Rotary saves the day
The Christchurch South Club’s plans to help run an end-of-year fun sports day for the Sacred Heart Primary School in Addington all came apart when the key club member who was arranging the club’s involvement died a few days before the event. To make matters worse her funeral timing clashed and involved the club helpers. So a call for help to Gordon saw a team from Cashmere helping out at short notice by helping the staff man the sports stations.
The day was such a success we are now looking at doing something similar next year for one of the schools in our area.
