In a pleasing trend we are happy to welcome the following four new members to our club. In keeping with Rotary traditions their backgrounds are many and varied – everything from a cancer specialist to an IT expert fom Mongolia!
Duncan Stone
Duncan, a retired dry stock farmer from ‘Windwhistle ‘ and latterly Darfield, has recently joined our Club. He lists among his interests a life time love of cricket as well as working in rural N Z. He now looks forward to the opportunity to serve our community with Rotary and meeting a new group of friends in the city.

We welcome new member Bernie Fitzharris A a recently retired Medical Oncologist .Bernie is enjoying the contact with a group of like minded locals, many who are retired and meet for fellowship and community service.

Batbaatar Gurbazzar
Batbaatar, is a Rotarian transferring to New Zealand and our Club from his former club inMongolia. This is quite a journey and shows the engagement and reach internationally of Rotary . Since joining Cashmere Rotary Club he has joined our cycling group that hit the roads and cycling tracks around the city weekly as well as doing an annual out of town tour of other popular journeys in the South Island.
